Sorry if this has been done already.

Just heard this gimp on Talksport claiming there is a real possibility that the Spuds can use Upton park for a season after we move.

Does anyone reckon they could actually do this???.

Re: Alan Sugar
This is an old story. When we first went to sell up they looked into renting it for a year and got told it was a no go. It was a clause in the contract all signed.

I've met Alan Sugar in my business life and can confirm he IS an arsehole just like you imagined he would be.

I wouldn't trust him saying 'good morning' unless I could see it for certain out of the window.

Would the pope ask the muslims if he could use the main mosque in Mecca while St.Peter's Basilica in Rome was being refurbished ?

It just doesn't go together, it's wrong, it doesn't make sense. The potential benefit to Spurs won't justify the hassle and the social costs incurred as a result of this utterly stupid idea.

Harpo, why on earth should the club comment on every stupid little rumour, that wont happen. Idiot.

I'd be gutted if they had our home for a season. I'm not particularly pleased that we're moving out for a fucking giant corporate bowl and I will absolutely cunted if they change anything cosmetically, have possible European Champions League Football there and make better use of it then we ever did.

Harpo

I'm guessing there's no statement from the club, because they didn't forseee any liklehood of this happening when they flogged the ground to Galliard homes....How many of us on here have confidence that the dildo brothers have put any clause in place that no one uses it after we've gone?

So it looks like yet another wait and see job It seems.

I wish the club would come out with a statement when issues like this come around, I believe they must read the various boards to keep up to date with what is gong on with fans opinions.

Don't know how true all that is, but, good God, how I want it to be true. I'll be in danger of laughing my nuts clean off if that shit hits their fan.

But, what OTB said is right. And other than Gold and co selling off everything, we'll have ripped out all the seats and taken up the turf, ripped the goalposts down and got our hands on anything from a corner flag to one of the big ugly turrets out the front after the last game anyway.

Sugar can fuck right off.

A few allegations that they might not get their new stadium:

Re: Alan Sugar
I would fucking love it if that happened.

If we were at home on the same day in Stratford it would be a fucking bloodbath. Same when we played them AWAY at Upton Park. None of them would have the stones to drink anywhere near the ground and by the time we leave we'll nick all our seats we've sat in for years anyway and the stadium will be as run-down as fuck.

Brilliant!

The thought of that lot using our stadium and playing the final game in it sickens me.
